Are you in love?

Everything we say at funerals should be said at birthday parties instead.

We leave so much love unspoken.

One of my biggest strengths, that some call weakness, is that I always try to respond to anything and everything with love. I believe in rather saying and showing that I care and love too much than too little - I believe in creating a better world by giving more love, especially to those that hurt us and “don’t deserve it.” As I think they deserve and need it the most. And yes, sometimes it feels unfair, it makes you feel more broken, vulnerable and disappointed, but if you are patient and just wait, you’ll notice how things and people start to slowly change.

One of the biggest beliefs I have had for most of my life is that being in love is good. In love with everything and anything - your friends, family, partner, nature, work, traveling, new experiences, being scared as hell and still doing it and being there, the adrenaline rush, the summer loves, running until you feel a laughter and relief coming from inside of you, teaching kids to believe into themselves. We can be in love with so many things, yet we stop ourselves from feeling it because it makes us scared and vulnerable. Or we are too busy to even think of things that make us in love.

Whatever it is, I need you to do this for yourself; make sure to find yourself in love - whatever that love is - because there is no better thing that butterflies in your stomach and smile on your face.

xx
